DescriptionThis double-faced porcelain enamel and neon sign used to hang out front of the Eagles Club, chapter #691 in Wapakoneta. It hung from an overhead pole that projected at 90-degrees façade. When the group updated their look/logo in 2002, the Museum was able to acquire their old sign. The text is in a rounded, sans-serif-like font that has an Art Deco styling. It is also decorated with simple geometric patterns around the edges in pink and red. There are still hints of the Art Nouveau style, which by this time--1932--would have began fading in popularity, in the rounded, tendril-like shapes of the border.
