The author, Bob Fitzgerald, was a regular contributor to the Signs of the Times magazine- he was comfortable in writing on a variety of subjects dear to every signpainter. The 1957 classic was revised and reprinted many times over its 60-year tenure, but its basic information remains viable for even today’s signpainter. The museum’s library has multiple editions of the book.
