Acapulco Mexican Food Porcelain Enamel & Neon Sign

2007.0076.0001

Sign was originally located in Kansas City, MO. It appears that the "Acapulco" porcelain enamel panel and neon was retrofitted when the restaurant changed names. Acapulco is one of the largest cities in Mexico and is likely what the restaurant was named after due to the cities popularity with U.S. tourists in the 1940s and 1950s.
