Cerveri Pharmacy Neon Sign
Object/Artifact
Doubled-faced neon sign shows remnants of its baked enamel finish. The mid-1950s sign identified a pharmacy business in Reno, NV. The sign was manufactured by Cosgriff Neon Co., Reno, NV, as evidenced by the decal located on the bottom center. After 52 years in business, Cerveri closed in the Spring of 2000, at which time it was the last surviving mom-and-pop drugstore in downtown Reno.
