Carpeteria Welcome Genie Fiberglass Signage
Object/Artifact
This 21 foot tall, fiberglass genie that now welcomes visitors to the Museum once served as a mascot for Carpeteria, a West Coast flooring company. Having two faces, one on each side of his head, allowed the genie to greet customers from whichever way they were traveling. The Museum acquired the genie in 2003. It was restored and the Museum added the Welcome banner thanks to the former United-Maier Signs that was based here in Cincinnati.
