“Make Your Own Sign” mailbox sign kit was originally a point-of-purchase display for Nu-Lume All-Purpose Signs. and was manufactured by the Macklanburg-Duncan Co., Oklamahoma City 1, OK. The clever display consisted of reflective plastic letters stored in a pull-out tray, and frames for use as projecting wall signs, mailbox signs or stick-in-the-ground signs, indicating name and address or room number. Copy and graphics are screen-printed in four colors. The letters and numbers were originally priced at 10 cents per letter or number.
