Sign People,
Pre-order Your Copy of the ASM’s 25th Anniversary Book
The American Sign Museum has been working on a great 25th anniversary present – a book all about the ASM and its signs! The book is still in its early stages with a lot of research and gathering of materials, but you can pre-order now and be one of the first to receive your copy hot off the presses. The estimated release date is Fall 2025.
Annual Fund
The American Sign Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your gifts to the Museum are tax deductible. Your support gives the Museum additional capacity to continue to explore American history, culture, technology, marketing, and commerce through signs.
Adopt-a-Sign
The Museum’s signs are in various stages of repair. Some require complete restoration. Others are in good shape but require some tender loving care. All of the signs – particularly those with light bulbs, neon, or moving parts require ongoing maintenance. So wander through the museum, or browse our digital catalogue and pick YOUR sign to support.
Your gift will be recognized alongside the sign you select.
Email Ioanna Paraskevopoulos with any questions, or to discuss a contribution or Adopt-a-Sign by phone, call 513-701-2186.
Donation to the Collection
The Museum’s collection was not built in a day and most of our iconic signs were gifts. We rely on the generosity of donors, all of whom are formally recognized. If you have an item or sign that you think may be of importance to the collection, please email collections@americansignmuseum.org with pictures and any information you may have on the object, and allow up to two (2) weeks for a staff member to review and respond. The Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so donations may be tax deductible.
THANK YOU TO OUR MAJOR MUSEUM DONORS
Gemini, Inc.
The American Sign Museum owes much of its early success to Gemini, Inc., and more specifically, to its owners, Jim and Sharon Weinel. They have been monumental supporters of the Museum from the word “go,” from providing money to complete the renovation of our current building, to repairing the roof! They started their own wholesale sign company more than 50 years ago in Minnesota, and their contribution to this and other sing-industry groups is unprecedented. Without them, there wouldn’t be an American Sign Museum.
The Ohio Valley Foundation
The American Sign Museum’s projects are financially assisted by the Ohio Valley Foundation.
