Maker Series: Projection Mapping

Are you a big fan of BLINK and want to learn how they make the awesome projections on the buildings? Or are you interested in trying to create a digital sign? This introduction to projection mapping is for you! In this class you will learn hands on how to create custom projection mapping displays for your personal use at home, parties, business or holidays.
You will use HeavyM software to designate any area and using a digital projector to project that on a wall window or any other surface. Using your photos, videos, logos and stock digital material we will map/create a digital presentation and download it for you to take home.
Students are asked to bring a Laptop, 16GB flash drive or higher and note pad. You can download any photos or videos you would like to use in the group project we will complete before the end of class.
About the instructor: Brent Keltch has been a professional artist for over 40 years working in mediums including Pottery, Stone Carving, Fine Art Painting, Wood Turning & Sculpture, Metal Sculpture, Concrete Castings & Sculpture, and Photography. He has taught numerous classes through the Art Academy of Cincinnati, ArtsConnect, and his personal studio in Essex Studios.
