Take a close look at the ASM’s first special exhibition – Glow & Behold: Cincinnati’s Historic LGBTQ+ Bar Signs. Join the exhibit’s curator, Jacob Hogue, as he shares insights from his research on the Long history of building in community spaces in Cincinnati dating back to the late 1800s.
Jacob Hogue is a Public Historian, lecturer, and author with a specialization in the region’s LGBTQ History. He is currently under contract with the Ohio History Press to publish his debut book entitled Cincinnati Before Stonewall: The Untold Queer History of the Queen City. Jacob has been published through the Ohio Valley History Magazine, the NKY Tribune, and currently writes for Queer Kentucky Magazine. He also serves as the History and Legacies Chair for Cincinnati Pride.
