Double-faced neon sign with a sheet metal cabinet that once hung outside of Mad Frog on McMillan St in Cincinnati. Mad Frog was a notable music club from 1996 to 2022.

Object History :

Aydin Kol purchased the venue located at 1 E McMillan St., in December of 1996.  Within a few months live music was added to the venue.  The first musician was Sweet Alice, a blues legend, as a way to pay homage to the buildings previous business- Corey’s which was widely credited with reviving the Cincinnati blue’s scene in the 1980s.  Over the years, they showcased hundreds of local artists in addition to emerging artists such as Machine Gun Kelly and Papadosio.  Sometime in the 2010’s the venue made the shift from live music to EDM.  Unfortunately, COVID closures proved to be too much for the business and they closed their doors in June of 2022.
