This sign was a local Chillicothe landmark seen at the Central Center Shopping Center for more than a half-century. Big Bear grocery stores were founded in Columbus, OH in 1933 by Wayne Brown. The first store was located at 386 W. Lane Ave. across from the Ohio State University.
