“Longley’s” restaurant sign is handcarved wood script mounted on wire mesh background–a typical method of installing such signs as employed by Spanjer Brothers.

Sign was from a restaurant in Connecticut. Museum contacted Michael Lauretano, Lauretano Sign Group, Terryville, CT, who picked up the sign, crated it and shipped it gratis to the museum.
