We’ve written extensively about the CoSign project (see our blog posts under the ‘CoSign Project Report category), and won’t repeat ourselves. Suffice it to say in 2013 we received funding from ArtPlace America to continue CoSign in 2013 (Northside community of Cincinnati) and again in 2014 (nearby Covington, Kentucky) and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome this past year!
Using the lessons learned in 2012, CoSign launched in June by inviting business owners, artists, and fabricators to participate in the program. In the end, 20 businesses and 140 artists participated in the competition, and 9 new signs were unveiled during Northside’s Black Friday Shop Local Extravaganza.
