PRESERVING AMERICAN SIGN HISTORY

SUPPORT THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

The American Sign Museum launched A Campaign for the American Sign Museum to raise $5.5 million for an expansion into a 20,000-square foot unfinished portion of its current building, which will double its size in Camp Washington. To date, the Museum has reached 90% of its fundraising goal with investments from donors from across the country.

DONATING TO THE COLLECTION

The Museum’s collection was not built in a day and most of our iconic signs were gifts to the Museum. We rely on the generosity of donors, all of whom are formally recognized. If you have an item or sign that you think may be of importance to the collection, please email collections@americansignmuseum.org with pictures and any information you may have on the object, and allow up to two (2) weeks for a staff member to review and respond. The Museum is a not-for-profit corporation so contributions may be tax deductible but all donors are required to confirm tax liability and eligibility with their own advisor.

VOLUNTEER

The American Sign Museum has opportunities for volunteers. The small staff often needs assistance; from providing tours to pulling weeds. Professional skills are always welcome.

MAJOR MUSEUM DONORS

Gemini, Inc.

The American Sign Museum owes much of its early success to Gemini, Inc., and more specifically its owners, Jim and Sharon Weinel.  They have been monumental supporters of the Museum from the word “go,” from providing money to complete the renovation of the current building, to repairing the roof! They started their own wholesale sign company more than 50 years ago in Minnesota, and their contribution to this and other sign-industry groups is unprecedented. Without them, there wouldn’t be an American Sign Museum.
